The full form of PIN code is Postal Code Index is a numbering system of the post offices across the India used by India Post. The postal code in another word Pincode is six digits long, first digit tells the region name, second digit tells the sub-region name, third digit represents district name and last three digits tells the post office name. The pincode divided into nine zones.
